Les Blancs Sablons
A sheltered white-sand bay that only wakes up when everything else is closing out.
Les Blancs Sablons is a bay of white sand and protected dunes at Le Conquet, at the western tip of Brittany. It's sheltered, so it needs a very big swell (3 m or more from the north-west) to work, at high or rising tide.
It works mainly in winter, when the rest of the coast is starting to close out. It's a fairly safe spot, even for beginners.
