El Brusco
One of Cantabria's most powerful waves: a long, hollow left that needs high tide.
El Brusco breaks below the hill of the same name, at the western end of Trengandín beach (Noja). With a north-west swell of 1.5 m and up and high tide, a fast, hollow, long left forms — one of the most prized in the region.
Be warned: from the car park it always looks smaller than it is.
