Sandvík
A black-sand beach at the tip of Reykjanes, with powerful waves and strong currents.
Sandvík is a beach of black sand and dunes at the south-western tip of the Reykjanes peninsula, near the «bridge between continents». The waves are powerful and the undertow can be very strong.
Don't surf it alone: with water this cold, fatigue sets in very quickly.
