Les Sablettes
Toulon's surf beach, on the Saint-Mandrier isthmus, with an easterly swell.
Les Sablettes is a sandy beach on the isthmus joining the Saint-Mandrier peninsula to La Seyne, next to Toulon. Open to the south-east, it gets the easterly storms and is the most popular spot in the area.
With the mistral blowing offshore after the storm, the waves clean up.
