Póvoa de Varzim
A rock-bottom left in town, very popular with bodyboarders.
In Póvoa de Varzim, north of Porto, a left breaks over a rock bottom and holds a fair amount of size. It works best at mid tide; at high tide it's softer and can be surfed on a longboard.
It's a wave bodyboarders love.
