Mondello
Palermo's bay between Monte Pellegrino and Capo Gallo, with waves in a northerly swell.
Mondello is Palermo's historic beach, a white-sand bay between two headlands. With a north or north-east swell and a southerly wind, soft waves break across the whole bay.
It's where Palermo surfing began and it's still the meeting point.
