Torö Stenstrand
The stone beach in the Stockholm archipelago where the capital surfs when the Baltic gets angry.
Torö Stenstrand is a pebble beach at the southern end of the Stockholm archipelago, an hour from the city. With strong southerly or south-westerly storms, the Baltic builds waves that break over stones and sand.
It's the go-to spot for Stockholm surfers and one of the few places in the Baltic with quality waves.
