Tapia de Casariego
One of Spain's most historic surf towns: waves by the rock and very consistent beach breaks.
Tapia de Casariego has one of the oldest surf communities in Spain and a long contest tradition. On the main beach a wave breaks along the rock, best at around 1.5 m, and on the other side there are classic beach-break lefts and rights.
It's very consistent: it gets swell even in August, the flattest month, and in midwinter it can get very big.
