Salinas / San Juan
The heart of Asturian surfing: a long, consistent beach that works when everywhere else is flat.
Salinas, with San Juan beach at its northern end, is a long urban beach with many peaks that picks up almost any west or north-west swell. That's why it's the go-to option when the rest of Asturias is flat, summer included.
The San Juan end has a little more punch. It's one of the hubs of Asturian surfing, with schools and shops right on the beach.
