San Vicente de la Barquera's long beach, with peaks for everyone and the Picos de Europa behind.
Merón (with Gerra at its end) is a beach several kilometres long with sandbanks that spread lefts and rights. On small days it's gentle and perfect for learning or longboarding; with a solid north-west swell, the outer banks offer punchy walls.
The good days usually come with a light southerly wind and early in the morning. Low tide can make it fast and close-out prone on big days.
