Buggerru
An old mining village in the south-west with reefs that hold the maestrale.
Buggerru, on the Costa Verde in south-west Sardinia, is an old mining village facing the sea. By the harbour and at neighbouring Portixeddu beach there are reefs and banks that work with the maestrale and with west swell.
It's one of the most consistent spots in the south of the island and has hosted Italian championships.
