Poetto
Cagliari's big city beach, with soft waves when the scirocco blows.
Poetto is Cagliari's beach: about 8 km of sand between the Sella del Diavolo and Quartu. It works with a south-east (scirocco) swell and a northerly wind, and the waves are usually small and soft.
It's where many of the city's surfers learn.
