Le Gouyot
The Île de Ré spot: a rock-bottom wave that's great for longboarding.
Le Gouyot is a wave over a rock bottom on the south coast of the Île de Ré. It's ideal for longboarding, although in good conditions it's also surfed on short boards.
It's the island's busiest spot. Crossing to Ré means paying the bridge toll.
