A Lanzada
The big beach of the Rías Baixas, between Sanxenxo and O Grove, which wakes up with a westerly swell.
A Lanzada is a long beach facing south-west at the entrance to the O Grove peninsula. Being more sheltered than the north coast, it needs a big swell to work, and then it offers sand peaks for all levels and a left by the rocks.
In summer it's a very touristy beach; for surfing, autumn to spring with a north or north-east wind is best.
