Le Grand Crohot
A dune beach that's busy in summer and almost empty in winter, with banks by the bunkers.
Le Grand Crohot is one of the closest beaches to Bordeaux north of the bay. In summer it fills with swimmers; in winter it's easy to surf almost alone.
The best banks are usually at the south end, near the Second World War bunkers.
