Biscarrosse
The beach at the northern end of Landes, with good banks and lots of bodyboarding.
Biscarrosse-Plage has plenty of good sandbanks in front of the promenade, and you can check the surf from your car before deciding. It's very popular with bodyboarders.
Like the other beaches in the area, it closes out in big swell and gets busy in summer: arrive early.
