Guincho
A spectacular beach between dunes and the Sintra hills, famous for its wind.
Guincho is a wild beach next to the Sintra hills, inside the natural park. It picks up lots of swell and can produce powerful waves, especially to the right of the rocks in the middle.
It's famous for the northerly wind, very strong in summer, which makes it a kite and windsurf spot: to surf, go in the morning or in winter with an easterly.
