The reddish-sand bay below the north-west cliffs, Malta's surf beach.
The island is small and you can cross it in half an hour, so it's easy to find the shore with an offshore wind. The season runs from October to April and the water stays above 15 °C: a 3/2 is enough for most of the winter.
