Moulay Bousselham
A village by a protected lagoon in northern Morocco, with sandbanks that are almost empty in winter.
Moulay Bousselham sits next to the Merja Zerga lagoon, a bird reserve, between Larache and Kenitra. At the lagoon mouth and along the beach, sandbanks form waves for several levels.
From late September to December it's almost empty, with cheap accommodation and food; the locals are very welcoming.
