Sète (Lido)
The sandy lido between Sète and Marseillan, where Montpellier's surfers meet.
South-west of Sète, a strip of sand over 10 km long separates the sea from the Thau lagoon. With a south-east swell and a northerly wind, the banks give peaks along the beach, especially near the Corniche.
It's one of the wave-richest beaches in Languedoc, with active clubs and schools.
