Saltburn
Yorkshire's surf hub, with peaks on both sides of the Victorian pier.
Saltburn has a long beach in front of the town, with a Victorian pier and a cliff lift. There are peaks on both sides of the pier that work with a north or north-east swell.
The locals are friendly and there are shops and schools on the seafront. In big swell there are currents by the pier and the point.
