Anglet · French Basque Country

Les Cavaliers

Anglet's most powerful wave: hollow barrels and a channel by the jetty.

Beach breakIntermediate

Les Cavaliers usually has more size than the other Anglet beaches and, with an offshore wind, breaks with hollow barrels. It holds big swell, up to 3–4 m, and there's a channel by the jetty to paddle out.

It has hosted international contests and is the go-to wave for Anglet surfers, so it's almost always busy.
