Smitingen
The northernmost surf in the Baltic, on the High Coast, with southerly storm waves.
Smitingen is next to Härnösand, on the UNESCO-listed High Coast (Höga Kusten). With southerly and south-easterly storms running up the Gulf of Bothnia, waves reach its beach.
In winter the gulf can freeze, so the season is mainly autumn.
