La Sud
Hossegor's friendliest beach, next to the Capbreton channel, with smaller, cleaner waves.
La Sud is at the south end of Hossegor, partly sheltered by the Capbreton channel jetty. That's why the waves are smaller and softer than at La Gravière or La Nord, although they're still fast: take off at the peak and build speed.
It's Hossegor's option for progressing and the one many choose when the rest of the coast is too big.
