Bogatell
The Poblenou beach with the city's punchiest banks when an easterly arrives.
Bogatell, north of Port Olímpic, usually has slightly faster, hollower waves than Barceloneta. The groynes hold the banks in place and, with a good east swell, peaks with some wall appear.
It's the go-to peak for many local surfers, so on good days the level in the water is high.
