San Lorenzo (Gijón)
Gijón's city beach: surf schools in the middle and a long right off the point on big days.
San Lorenzo is Gijón's big city beach and a favourite with many local surfers. In the middle of the bay the beach break is simple and good for learning, although it closes out easily.
With a bigger swell and low tide, a long right forms at the far right end over sand and rock, which some days can get hollow.
