Sant Pol de Mar
A Maresme fishing village with coarse-sand beaches and rocks that shape the waves.
Sant Pol de Mar, in the north of the Maresme, has coves and coarse-sand beaches with rocks that shape the peaks. With an east swell and a north-west wind it produces a wave with more wall than the open beaches further south.
It's less crowded than near Barcelona and you can get there on the coastal train.
